We’ve been spending time recently with the Open Source ZenCart application – with renewed interest after the release of version 1.3.9 in late April. This long-awaited release brings a number of new features, extensive support for customization, and enhanced security.
ZenCart offers multiple customer modes, unlimited number of categories, sales and discounts, gift certificates, quantity discounts, a newsletter manager, and multiple shipping and payment options – with integration modules to the major payment and shipping providers.
